Attention Busy
Holiday
Shoppers!

The holidays are a hectic time, and you’re going to need all
the energy you can get! Stay energized with protein charged
pick-me-ups - lean and delicious power meals that keep you
going without packing on the pounds. And when you rely on fish
as a lean protein source, you not only get long-lasting energy,
you also get brain-healthy omega-3s.
Registered Dietitian and seafood blogger Jennifer Wilmes
(blogaboutseafood.com) says, “I like to keep three-ounce
‘to-go’ cups of tuna in my office for lunch and snacks. I bring
a few slices of bread and a small plastic container full of
tuna mix-ins such as olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped parsley
and pieces of sun-dried tomato. Then when I get hungry, I
simply add my tuna into the container, stir, and spread the
mixture on the bread. Super convenient, versatile and no
sogginess."
